SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY : The Stone Saw Operator at Allied Stone is responsible for operating stone-cutting machinery to precisely cut and shape raw materials for use in construction and design projects. This role requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency in stone cutting.

• Operate stone-cutting machinery, including saws and routers, to cut and shape raw stone materials according to project specifications.
• Ensure accurate measurement and cutting of stones to meet design requirements.
• Inspect and maintain cutting tools, machinery, and equipment for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and fulfill orders in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of stone waste.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Conduct quality checks on cut stones to verify conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and address minor machinery issues as they arise.

Work Environment : Primarily in a stone manufacturing facility, involving exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery.

Physical Demands : Moderate physical demands, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy stone materials.
