Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals facing behavioral health challenges? At ECHN, we’re looking for a dedicated Crisis Worker to join our community hospital team. Your Role
As a Crisis Worker, you will provide both direct and indirect clinical services to patients in need of behavioral health interventions in our Emergency Departments. Your strong clinical skills will be essential in crisis triage, assessment, and effective communication with patients and their families, ensuring they receive the appropriate care and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct age-appropriate assessments and treatments for a diverse patient population.
- Engage in crisis triage and assessment, individual and family interventions, and case management.
- Collaborate with community resources and provide patient / family education.
- Verify insurance and assist in treatment planning and placement.
- Participate in clinical supervision and actively seek feedback for professional growth.
- Utilize psychological and physical management techniques in emergency situations.
