ICF Disaster Management Division seeks a Drone Pilot – On-Call to join our team immediately! Travel will be necessary.
Drone Pilots will be FAA Part 107 certificated remote pilots to operate as Damage Inspectors to support our growing Disaster Management efforts. These positions are part-time and on-call and require the ability to travel for extended periods throughout different states. Candidates will ideally reside in the Gulf South Region.
These will be extremely fast-paced projects and while the work will be hard, the rewards will be great as we do our part to help areas affected by natural disasters recover and rebuild. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and dedicated team that delivers results and helps make a BIG impact with innovative technology.
The position will report to a Drone Ops Manager and gain some exposure to complex tasks within the job function. These on-call, part-time opportunities are available for immediate on-boarding.
About On-Call Employment with ICF
Given the seasonal or project-specific nature of our disaster & emergency management work, ICF often hires professionals as “On-Call” employees. On-Call employees are scheduled for work hours as they become available (while we usually schedule work hours a few weeks ahead of time, last-minute scheduling may also occur), and each on-call employee is free to accept or refuse the hours assigned to them in a given week. On-Call employees may work concurrent projects outside of their ICF assignment (as long as their outside work does not create a conflict of interest with the work they do for ICF).
