Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide individualized financial aid counseling to current and prospective students and their families.
  • Assist students with the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and other required documentation.
  • Analyze and verify financial aid applications in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
  • Determine student eligibility for financial aid programs and prepare award packages.
  • Conduct financial literacy workshops and presentations to educate students on budgeting, loan management, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Admissions and Enrollment Management teams to support recruitment and retention initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed of changes in financial aid regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

    • Requirements : Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Education, Business Administration) required.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in financial aid, higher education, or a related field preferred, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations and processes.
  • Proficiency in financial aid management systems (e.g., Ellucian Colleague) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
