We are looking for a highly skilled Drywall Estimator with a minimum of 3 years of experience working for a drywall company to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of drywall construction processes, materials, and labor requirements. The primary responsibility of the Drywall Estimator will be to accurately estimate project costs, analyze blueprints, conduct on-site evaluations, and collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver comprehensive and competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to accurately estimate materials, labor, and equipment required for drywall installations.
- Conduct on-site evaluations to assess project scope, conditions, and potential challenges.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and clients to clarify requirements and specifications.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to generate detailed and accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including itemized breakdowns of costs, timelines, and project deliverables.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure competitive pricing.
- Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and other project documents as needed.
- Address inquiries, clarify specifications, and resolve issues related to cost estimation to provide ongoing support to project teams.
- Monitor project progress and budgetary performance to identify potential cost overruns or savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to source competitive materials and subcontractors.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as required.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documents for future reference and analysis.
