Job Summary :

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) , you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. Your role will include assisting with personal care, promoting independence, facilitating community involvement, and ensuring a safe and positive environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and independence.
  • Provide transportation to community activities, appointments, and outings.
  • Encourage social interaction and engagement in recreational activities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
  • Accurately document daily activities, progress, and any incidents.
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive environment.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Every other weekend is required.
  • Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or disability services is a plus but not requiredwe provide paid training!
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check or obtain a good cause wavier.
