Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida provides programs and services for adolescents and adults who face significant emotional, behavioral and intellectual / developmental challenges. With locations in Winter Park, Orlando and Casselberry, this position provides an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys caring for others and has the ability to be patient and deal with challenging behaviors. The primary functions include :

Supporting a therapeutic environment, while ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals we serve.

Conducting daily living activities, including health management, cooking, cleaning, recreation, and hygiene assistance (some individuals require assistance with bathing, toileting and dressing)

Following and implementing behavioral support plans

Documenting shift reports, incident reports, and individual progress notes.

Position Details :

Salary : Starts at $16.25 - $19.89 / hour PLUS additional compensation :  Shift differential (up to $2.00 / hour). Relevant experience in field (up to $2.00 / hour). Credit for higher education ($.48 / hr for Bachelors degree; $.72 / hr for Masters degree).

Shifts : Currently hiring for 2nd (2 : 00pm to 10 : 00pm) and 3rd shift (10 : 00pm - 9 : 00am). One weekend day is required for employment.
