We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient transportation of materials and equipment to and from job sites.
Responsibilities :
- Safely operate and maneuver various commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, end-dumps, flatbeds, and equipment trailers.
- Transport construction materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transportation.
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members regarding delivery schedules, delays, and any issues encountered during transportation.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and promptly report any mechanical issues or damages.
- Other duties as assigned
