Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Director of UI/UX to define and lead the design vision for our enterprise website and eCommerce platforms. This role is responsible for creating intuitive, accessible, and high performing digital experiences that drive conversion, loyalty, and brand differentiation.
You will lead a multidisciplinary design organization and serve as a key strategic partner to product, engineering, marketing, and analytics leaders. This role sits within Brand Performance & Strategy and partners day-to-day with eCommerce, Product, and Engineering. You will lead the UX vision and standards for web and eCommerce while working through a mix of dedicated and matrixed resources to deliver.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define and own the UI/UX vision for web and eCommerce experiences, aligning design strategy with business and customer goals.
- Lead and mentor a UX team and influence partner resources (UI, research, and analytics) to deliver against priorities.
- Champion user-centered design, ensuring experiences are intuitive, inclusive, and optimized across devices.
- Own end-to-end journey experience from click through checkout, ensuring clarity, trust, and conversion.
- Set UX standards and experience quality gates for key journeys, including accessibility, performance, and brand consistency.
- Drive personalization and optimization, partnering with eCommerce, product and data teams to design tailored, high impact experiences.
- Establish and govern design systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to brand standards.
- Leverage research and data, including usability testing, analytics, and experimentation, to continuously improve experiences.
- Collaborate closely with eCommerce lead, engineering and product teams to ensure high quality execution from concept through launch.
- Represent UX leadership in roadmap planning and executive discussions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven success leading design for enterprise or high traffic web and eCommerce platforms.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conversion focused, user-focused, user-centered design.
- Deep expertise in design tools, prototyping, and research methodologies.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional environments.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design, and performance considerations.
- Strong track record partnering with engineering teams to ship high-quality experiences at speed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, including 3+ years in a people leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with personalization platforms (., Dynamic Yield, Adobe Target, Optimizely).
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus).
- An understanding of SEO, AEO, and structured data as they relate to UX.
- Background in B2C, omnichannel retail, or digital experience design.
Location: This position will be based out of our offices in Irving, TX or our headquarters in Boca Raton, FL. We follow a 4 days onsite and 1-day remote schedule.
Travel:
- Occasionally, less than 25%.
