The Role
As Ecommerce Lead, you’ll own the on-the-ground execution and strategic direction of the brand’s ecommerce business from the Austin headquarters. You’ll balance hands-on management with long-term vision—optimizing UX, driving conversion, scaling revenue, and ensuring the digital storefront reflects the brand’s mission at every touchpoint.
What You’ll Do
🛒 Lead Online Sales – Own P&L, revenue goals, and growth trajectory for ecommerce
🧩 Optimize the Site – Analyze user behavior, A / B test flows, manage UX / UI improvements, and drive conversion rate optimization
📦 Merchandising & Catalog – Oversee product launches, site merchandising, inventory prioritization, and seasonal assortment strategies
📊 Data & Analytics – Monitor key ecommerce metrics (AOV, LTV, CRO, retention), generate insights, and refine strategies accordingly
🛠 Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with marketing, creative, product, and operations teams to align site strategy with campaign, launch, and supply chain needs
🎯 Team & Process Management – Manage and mentor the ecommerce team, refine processes, and scale operations
What You’ll Bring
- ️ 5–7+ years in ecommerce management or digital commerce roles (preferably in DTC, retail, or apparel / footwear)
- ️ Proven experience driving revenue growth, conversion optimization, and site performance
- ️ Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, dashboards, and KPIs
- ️ Experience with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, or similar)
- ️ Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills
- ️ Bias for action, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- ️ Passion for sustainability, wellness, and mission-led brands
