Job Description : High School Economics, Business, and History Teacher
Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated educator to join our high school faculty as an Economics, Business, and History Teacher. This position requires a passion for teaching and mentoring students in the fields of economics and business, with additional responsibilities including teaching some high school history classes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in these subjects, enthusiasm for engaging high school students, and a commitment to fostering academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials for high school economics and business courses.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and academic growth.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support student development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional practices across the department.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
- Adjunct teaching responsibilities in high school history classes, providing instruction and support as needed.
- Uphold school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.
