To join CLEAResult as a Energy Transition Practice Director. CLEAResult’s Energy Transition practice is driving toward a high efficiency, low carbon economy. The Practice Director will be an expert in energy transition technology and markets and will use this expertise to lead the evolution of electrification and distributed energy resource products and services. The primary responsibility of the Practice Director will be delivering growth of the commercial and industrial demand flexibility portfolio, both through enhancing delivery for existing clients and developing solutions for new clients.

In this role you will...
Develop and Deploy Capabilities
Guide the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data to identify trends, market dynamics, and customer insights
Conduct competitive analysis to understand the competitive landscape and inform strategic decision-making, leveraging existing research material as well as new research
Create and manage a roadmap for service capabilities to deliver commercial and industrial demand flexibility
Collaborate with the product team to inform a corresponding technical roadmap, as well as shaping build / buy / partner decisions
Effectively partner with regional delivery teams to introduce and optimize delivery capabilities that enable expansion with existing clients
Industry Thought Leadership
Represent CLEAResult externally as a thought leader, driving impactful relationships.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies related to Energy Transition
Actively participate in various associations and organizations to monitor industry activity that could drive business decisions.
Monitor critical policy activity, identify and communicate business risks and opportunities
Collaborate with product and delivery teams to guide the evolution of products and services
Drive Business Growth Objectives
Develop an in-depth understanding of CLEAResult Energy Transition offerings, with the ability to present and demonstrate capabilities in client meetings and industry conferences
Cultivate relationships in key Energy Transition segments, including utilities, state and local governments, identifying stakeholders and priorities
Utilize findings of market research and analysis to guide Energy Transition business development initiatives, including market entry strategies and partnerships
Provide guidance to marketing campaigns and client proposals, based on market insights and competitive analysis
Monitor and report on the Energy Transition opportunity pipeline, meeting regularly with business development leads to groom and prioritize toward achievement of growth goals
Work collaboratively with business development and delivery leads to support the sales process, from defining deal strategies through contract negotiations
Provide background and strategic guidance to Energy Transition launch team upon initiation of new programs
Management and Professional Development
Train business development and delivery teams on Energy Transition offerings
As Practice needs dictate, mentor junior staff in the Energy Transition team and / or manage one or more consultants or analysts as direct reports
In this exciting opportunity, you will have...
Advanced degree in policy, business, economics, marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of energy industry experience, including policy, utility, implementation, etc.
Demonstrated success delivering a large portfolio of distributed energy resources
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align market development initiatives with overall business objectives
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
A commitment to personal professional development, pursuing learning opportunities and embracing new challenges
Target Compensation :
140,000 - $160,000 / year
Compensation Range
131,900.00 - $197,800.00
