Education CoordinatorReports to : Managing Director, Mike Berg RaunickAs Summer Stock Stage enters our next phase of growth and impact, we are looking to add an Education Coordinator to join our team and lead our educational programming.About the RoleThe Education Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our summer Academy program as well as our year-round educational offerings. The Education Coordinator will work with and report to the Managing Director to develop administrative and financial scaffolding tosupport year-round programming as well as the expansion of our summer Academy program. The Education Coordinator will also work closely with the Artistic Director to develop programming and curriculum that meet the needs of the company and the community.Qualifications : 3-5 years of experience working in Arts Education and / or Arts Administration Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in arts administration or related field preferred An interest and commitment in working with, serving, and encouraging young and emerging artists Strong leadership and organizational skills Punctuality and professionalism Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively to create a healthy, hard-working, team-oriented environment.Duties and Responsibilities : Work collaboratively with Managing and Artistic Directors to develop and implement sustainable educational programming Work collaboratively with the Managing Director to develop budgets and oversee the fiscal operation of all educational programming Attend regular staff meetings Manage scheduling and registration for all classes and educational offerings Supervise the staffing and scheduling of all contracted teaching artists Coordinate / supervise pickup, dropoff and facility needs for all educational programs Coordinate all educational marketing to ensure programs and events are promoted effectively Act as primary point of contact for all educational programming Liaise with Butler University and Butler Arts and Events Center staff and security to ensure a seamless experience for participants Represent SSS in the community and advocate for the organizations mission and visionEmployment is provided through Summer Stock Stage Inc.
