Position description
UC Merced Extension is seeking experienced and qualified candidates to provide instruction in closely related fields of Education. Courses may be offered in academic credit and non-credit options.

In addition to teaching the course(s), the instructor is responsible for creating a syllabus, holding weekly office hours (2 hours / week), and grading examinations and / or papers.

UC Merced Extension anticipates hiring multiple part-time instructors for the courses listed above throughout the academic year based on the course sections scheduled and / or planned.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications
- a master's degree in related field as designated topic area
- minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the closely related field or publish research in the closely related field
- demonstrated theoretical and practical knowledge in the designated topic area
