Job description

The Clinical Educator for the IHCare+ service line is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing education programs for Community Paramedics and other clinical staff. This role ensures compliance with certification standards, supports onboarding, and provides ongoing training to maintain clinical excellence and regulatory adherence. The Clinical Educator collaborates closely with clinical leadership and regional managers to drive performance and quality improvements.

IHCare+ focuses on delivering high-quality, community-based healthcare solutions that improve health outcomes for underserved populations. By equipping Community Paramedics with the skills and knowledge they need, IHCare+ strengthens its commitment to providing accessible and impactful care.

Responsibilities

Education Program Development :

Design and implement comprehensive education programs tailored for Community Paramedics in IHCare+.
Develop scalable training modules to address chronic disease management, mobile integrated healthcare, and emergency response protocols.
Create virtual and in-person education materials to accommodate flexible learning environments.

Compliance and Certification Monitoring :

Track certifications, licensure renewals, and continuing education compliance.

Monitor regulatory requirements and update training programs accordingly.

Onboarding Programs :

Develop and execute onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring seamless integration into IHCare+ operations.

Collaborate with Regional Clinical Operations Managers and Lead Paramedics to deliver onboarding and skills training.

Training Deployment :

Deliver ongoing training programs in coordination with clinical leadership.

Provide refresher training and simulations to ensure readiness for field operations.

Manage virtual education processes to support remote and decentralized teams.

Policy and Protocol Updates :

Update clinical policies, processes, and protocols to align with regulatory and operational changes.

Communicate updates effectively to staff and provide necessary training.

State-Specific Adaptability :

Adapt training programs to comply with state-specific regulations and licensing requirements.

Ensure consistent application of protocols across IHCare+ service areas.

Required Skills

Essential Skills & Qualifications :

Proven experience in developing and executing medical education and training programs.

Strong background in mobile integrated healthcare or community paramedicine.

Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Community Paramedics and leadership.

High attention to detail and organizational skills to track compliance and program effectiveness.

Proactive problem-solving and adaptability to meet evolving clinical education needs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clarity and engagement.

Educational Requirements :

Current / Active Paramedic certification (EMT-P) or RN license required.

Community Paramedicine certification preferred.

BSN degree preferred

Compliance with regulatory training requirements.

Staff satisfaction and readiness assessments.
