SUMMARY

The Radiologic Technologist plays a critical role in performing and assisting radiologists with radiographic procedures, ensuring the highest quality films while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

STATUS : Full Time

LOCATION : RRH Urgent Care - St. Mary's Campus

DEPARTMENT : Imaging

SCHEDULE : Open 7 days a week from 9 AM - 9 PM weekdays, 9 AM - 8 PM weekends. Flexible scheduling, including three 12-hour shifts per week.

ATTRIBUTES

AAS in Radiologic Technology

One (1) year of Radiologic Technologist experience required; Two (2) years preferred

NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six (6) months of hire.

American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) required within one (1) year of hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care. Conduct radiographic imaging for patients in all assigned areas while ensuring timely, compassionate service, especially during unsupervised shifts.

General Maintenance. Regularly clean, restock, and prepare imaging rooms to maintain a professional environment.

Documentation. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient exams and procedures using the RIS / PACS and in-patient charts as necessary.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS :

R - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Medium Work - Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
