Solenis is hiring anEnvironmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our corporate team. Reporting to the Corporate EHS Manager - Americas will work with and partner with the team to support our field associates and our manufacturing facilities. This role will assist and oversee implementing environmental, health, and safety programs, procedures and best practice techniques, implement new procedures to comply with regulatory requirements, and provide control measures that reduce or eliminate risks to our team members.
Some of the things you will do :
- The responsibility of the EHS Specialist is to meet Solenis' primary goal of providing a safe and sustainable working environment for our employees.
- Travel to relevant customer locations and field locations to provide support on day-to-day activities
- Conduct incident investigations to identify causes and corrective actions and observations / audits of personnel, tools, equipment, and work practices to assure safe and proper procedures are being observed.
- Identify, evaluate, and make recommendations on programs, practices, tools and equipment aimed at reducing or eliminating risk for our teammates.
- Develop and conduct safety training and presentations for new hires or refreEHSr training.
- Provide guidance and technical expertise to ensure compliance with EHS regulations including governmental, state, industry, and Solenis. This includes monitoring and sharing information regarding new regulations.
- Develop SOPs for routine and non-routine work, compliance with the major regulatory programs and safety contingency plans including RCRA, EPA, Clean Water Act, OSHA & safety contingency plans.
- Evaluates systems & implements projects to meet the requirements of wastewater and air quality permits.
- Develop & implement systems & processes to ensure training is timely & effective, incident investigations are timely & complete, audits are regularly scheduled & observations resolved.
- Experience managing internal / external audits and good working knowledge of EPA, PSM / RMP, MOC, OSHA, NFPA, and / or related regulations

The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,500.00 and $102,900.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
