  • Adhere to all safety protocols when working on both gasoline and electric vehicles, including proper handling of high-voltage systems in EVs.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, especially in the handling and disposal of hazardous materials like batteries and oil.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry standards, emerging technologies, and best practices for both ICEVs and EVs.
  • 5. Fleet Performance Monitoring :

  • Monitor vehicle performance through telematics and onboard diagnostics systems, especially focusing on energy efficiency for EVs.
  • Provide feedback on ways to improve fleet efficiency, extend vehicle lifespan, and reduce overall maintenance costs.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure fleet vehicles meet company standards for safety and performance.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Certifications : ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is preferred. Certification in EV maintenance or high-voltage systems is highly desirable.
  • Technical Knowledge : Strong knowledge of gasoline engines, drivetrains, suspension systems, and electric vehicle components such as battery systems, electric motors, and charging stations.

  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, both for traditional vehicles and electric vehicle systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures for working with high-voltage systems.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions, including standing, crouching, and lying under vehicles.
  • Capable of working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience working on a fleet team or in a similar role with a mixed fleet of gasoline and electric vehicles.
  • Familiarity with fleet management software and telematics systems.
