A Project Manager at Switch Electric plays a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering projects from preconstruction to completion. While specific duties can vary depending on the project's complexity, common responsibilities include :

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop a strong project team to meet customer expectations, manage scope, and deliver on schedule. Mentor and manage a team of 3-10 direct reports.
• Drive profitability through effective project execution.
• Work closely with the Project Superintendent to develop project plans to meet schedule milestones.
• Review and manage the contractual requirements of the project.
• Communicate regularly with customers on all aspects of the scope.
• Create and present potential change orders (PCOs) to the customer.
• Create and manage the project budget.
• Initiate submission of the schedule of values (SOVs) each month.
• Lead procurement of lot materials and third-tier subcontractors.
• Promote and enforce safety standards on the project site. Conduct risk assessments as needed.
• Ensure all work meets required standards and codes compliances. Work closely with the Quality Assurance / Quality Control team throughout construction and commissioning.
• Other duties as assigned
