Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as an Electrical Assembler, where you will work from blueprints to assemble large corrugated box machines using standard hand tools. Ideal candidates will have backgrounds in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical fields.

SHIFT: 5a-3:30p (M-Th) **OT on Fridays**

Responsibilities

• Assemble corrugated box machines of various sizes and shapes using blueprints.
• Utilize standard hand tools such as screwdrivers, sockets, wrenches, and power screwdrivers for assembly.
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including wiring, based on schematics and blueprints.
• Handle heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments, including crawling under machines and working on ladders.
• Identify and use metric and standard bolts appropriately.
• Work long shifts and be available for overtime.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with hand tools and basic mechanical assembly.
• Understanding of wiring and electrical concepts.
• Ability to work long hours and perform physically demanding tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hydraulics background is desired.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of production assembly processes.
• Ability to differentiate between metric and standard bolts.
• Possession of personal hand tools is required.

Work Environment

Work in a large manufacturing and production shop with a 4x10 hour shift schedule, Monday through Thursday. Overtime is typically mandatory on Fridays and occasionally on Saturdays, with most contractors working close to 50 hours a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
