Job descriptionPrepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Prepare solicitations. Develop relationships with vendors. Three or more years of mechanical plumbing construction estimating experience. Experience estimating construction projects between $100K and $10M+ in plumbing budget. Experience estimating commercial construction projects. Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated history of successful leadership. Strong computer software skills – Bluebeam, Excel, QuickPen preferred. Strong attention to detail and deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Proven experience analyzing information, estimating, planning, strategic planning, and attention to detail. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Licenses or Certifications preferred. Degree in Construction Management or Engineering Prior field or project management experience is a big plus.
