ELECTRICAL ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER / ESTIMATOR

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier mechanical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of an  Electrical Assistant Project Manager / Estimator in Houston, TX.

Electrical Assistant Project Manager / Estimator Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the  Electrical Assistant Project Manager / Estimator in Houston, TX  is between $70,000 and $80,000.

Electrical Assistant Project Manager / Estimator Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
  • Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
  • Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Prepare solicitations.
  • Develop relationships with vendors.
  • Electrical Assistant Project Manager / Estimator Qualifications

  • Three or more years of mechanical plumbing construction estimating experience.
  • Experience estimating construction projects between $100K and $10M+ in plumbing budget.
  • Experience estimating commercial construction projects.
  • Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated history of successful leadership.
  • Strong computer software skills – Bluebeam, Excel, QuickPen preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience analyzing information, estimating, planning, strategic planning, and attention to detail.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Preferred but Not Necessary

  • Licenses or Certifications preferred.
  • Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
  • Prior field or project management experience is a big plus.
