Responsible for delivering visual assets from concept through execution for multiple brands within the Turning Point Brands portfolio. Applies art, design and copy layout skills to create concepts for various promotional and branding purposes such as POS, merchandising, Trade communication, other print communication, packaging, and digital assets as assigned. Less than 10% travel is required. This position has no personnel management responsibilities and reports to the Director of Marketing. The normal shift is 40 hours per week in the office with periodic extended hours as needed. This position may be assigned other duties as determined by the Supervisor.
Essential Functions
- Collaborates with Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, POS Manager, Legal and other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.
- Develops and manages the design and production plan for a variety of print and digital media across multiple brands and clients.
- Maintains continuous improvement with graphic design skills and tools.
- Ensures consistency of the brand through brand standards; Updates current artwork as needed.
- Ensures all legal and federally regulated guidelines are followed.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple projects within design specifications within budget guidelines.
- Manages production files from outside agencies and coordinates delivery of projects to printing partners.
- Maintains archives of past and present collateral to be sure all necessary parties have access to the proper marketing collateral.
