Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Working closely with clients, outside design consultants and internal engineers during conceptual and final design to develop and / or procure electrical design plans, specifications and narratives
• Completing both conceptual and detailed take-offs of electrical (service entrance, power, low voltage systems, etc.) scopes to be incorporated into the overall project budget or Guaranteed Maximum Price
• Assist management with the identification, prequalification and bidding of electrical scopes of work, as needed
• Ensuring appropriate construction materials are incorporated into designs and conducting thorough review of consultant designs and subcontractor / vendor shop drawings to ensure design intent is met
• Providing technical advice to other members on the D / B team
• Assisting project management staff in obtaining local planning and / or regulatory approval for electrical scopes
• Monitoring and inspecting work undertaken by subcontractors and / or our own trades
