Kimley-Horn's Phoenix, Arizona (AZ) office is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Electrical team! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex electrical systems for renewable generation, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, transportation, aviation, and industrial projects
- Responsible for the development of design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics and block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one-line diagrams
- Daily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams, with interaction across Kimley-Horn offices
- Prepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals, supporting the growth of electrical engineering service areas in the local market and across the country
- Expected to assist in mentoring, training, and growing a team to expand our electrical engineering practice
Qualifications
Experience in utility-scale PV, wind generation, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, microgrid, substation, or data center designs
