The Facilities Electrical Engineering Manager at Micron is responsible for managing a team of engineers that are the subject matter experts for the electrical, instrumentation and controls, fire alarm and toxic gas monitoring systems across the entire Boise campus including the ID1 high volume manufacturing fab. The engineering team works closely with the Operations team to ensure the systems are operating as designed and within specification limits, assists in trouble shooting, drives reliability and efficiency improvements and monitors system parameters. Provides design engineering support for base build projects, system expansion, modifications, and new equipment installations by developing the statement of work, sequence of operations and basis of design. This includes providing design input and submittal review. Responsible for driving global alignment, reliability and efficiency improvements, cost reductions, capacity planning, improved automation and monitoring, regulatory compliance, cost reductions and alignment to sustainability goals. Area Performance : Advanced knowledge of facilities electrical, controls and fire alarm systems Ensures the reliability of all site electrical, instrumentation and controls, fire alarm and toxic gas monitoring systems Works closely with customers to ensure daily operations, maintenance and foreseeable equipment failures don't affect production Manages department financial budgeting, forecasting, and expenditures for electrical system maintenance and projects Provides electrical design input on system changes and expa To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
