Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a motivated and talented Civil Engineering Technician to join our team in Raleigh, and support a wide variety of private, municipal and federal design projects. This is an excellent growth opportunity in one of the company's most important locations in the southeastern United States.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Site layout plans and geometric plans from basic concept to final construction documents
- Plan and profiles for site roads and utilities
- Drainage and grading design. Support the project team with quality control and electronic file management, including the following crucial tasks :
- Organize construction documents from beginning to end with minor direction.
- Demonstrate understanding of codes and regulatory requirements for design.
- Perform thorough quality control review of construction documents.
- Maintain file management of AutoCAD files and other documents.
- Ensure compliance with company CAD standards within the scope of assigned projects.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

About the Team
Pay Transparency : In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
Benefits Summary : Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term / long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave.
