NETA Technician/Field Supervisor
NETA Field Technician needed immediately. This role involves performing testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-voltage substation equipment to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical power systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical testing and maintenance, as well as extensive knowledge of industry standards, including NETA, IEEE, and NFPA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform electrical testing services on power apparatus, substations, and switchgear included (but not limited to) the following:
- Protective relaying and relaying systems
- Circuit Breakers
- Power Transformers
- Current and Potential Transformers
- Meters, Transducers, and Power system metering
- Power Cables
- Grounding Systems
- Motors and Motor Starters
- Station Batteries and Chargers
- Alarm systems and Annunciators
- Personal Protective Equipment
Education and/or Work Experience:
- NETA Certification (Level II, III, or IV) required.
- AAS in Electrical or Electronics Technology or equivalent experience in the high voltage industry
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in the high voltage industry
