The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Engineering Technician NJ-0802-03 to work at Buckley Space Force Base, CO.

In this position, you will serve as Geospatial information specialist with the responsibility for overall geospatial management and maintenance of geospatial information.

-Salary Range $52,727 - $82,938 (does not include locality pay)

-Position not eligible for telework

-Up tp 25% travel possible

Qualification Summary

• U.S. Citizenship Required

• Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.

• The work is sedentary. Occasional physical activity is required including walking or bending in the collection of data for facilities engineering or the staging of computer equipment.

• The employee shall be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

• Position will require outdoor fieldwork. The employee must meet physical requirements to perform this work.

• The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license may be required for the position.

• May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis. Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.

Duties:

• Serves as a Geospatial information specialist with the responsibility for overall geospatial management and maintenance of geospatial information

• Performs work related to the processes, practices, methods, and techniques involved in the construction of new or revision of existing maps, charts, and related cartographic products

• Performs surveying work to capture common installation pictures and mission date set geospatial data for inclusion into enterprise data systems.

• Provides training, material resources, and information security support
