As a commercial estimator for Pavilion Construction, you hold a key role in the project team, handling procurement, bidding proposals, and submissions, and have constant contact with project owners and prospective subcontractors. The Pavilion Construction estimator is the liaison to the project owner and the primary point of contact for the owner's consultants during the early phases of the project. Our estimators pride themselves on being chiefly responsible for Pavilion's "first impressions" and delivering excellent services and industry wisdom to our clients. With these responsibilities, an estimator for Pavilion Construction enhances the Pavilion brand and is an integral player in the success of today and the possibility of tomorrow. Our estimators' needs are organized, technically proficient in quantity takeoffs, able to think creatively, and love to communicate. A day's work passes by very quickly as they establish the critical path and scrutinize the small details of a planned project. Our estimators share success stories and former lessons learned to help Pavilion team members, clients, and consultants capitalize on opportunities.
As a commercial estimator with Pavilion, it is vital to create and maintain subcontractor relationships. This is to ensure that Pavilion receives the best qualified bid at the time of proposal.
The estimator position will require management experience and be ability to lead a team to maintain the company's goals and expectations.

Qualifications for this position:
- At least 5 years of previous "estimating/purchasing" experience within the construction industry.
- Must have 1-2 years of operational experience.
- Leadership experience
- This position requires strong working relationships with commercial subcontractors and suppliers in the market.
- Use computer software tools to assist with quantity "take-off" material surveys.
- Enjoy drafting the Work/Management Plan and critical path schedule for a project.
- Creative in finding better, less costly, and more efficient solutions towards delivering the owner's intentions.
- Experience using Procore
