Job descriptionReview construction plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness. Perform detailed and accurate quantity take-offs. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed. Coordinate with subcontractors regarding project scope, schedule, and risks. Provide innovative, practical solutions to project challenges. Estimate and manage projects ranging from $50,000 to $10,000,000. Lead preconstruction planning and provide oversight through project completion. Supervise and support the Superintendent in day-to-day construction activities. Monitor and manage budgets, costs, and financial targets to ensure profitability. Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Superintendent. Ensure environmental, stormwater, and safety programs are followed in accordance with company policies. Oversee quality control initiatives and project closeout documentation. Demonstrate strong delegation, follow-through, and leadership. Maintain a professional, dependable, and ethical approach in all work.

We are currently seeking a qualified Estimator / Project Manager to join our expanding team. This position is responsible for leading both estimating and project management functions across multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with local, state, and federal government projects is highly preferred.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in estimating and 3 years’ experience in project management (field experience a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
