Estimator Position
Key Responsibilities As the Estimator, you will support the preconstruction and estimating function, reporting into senior estimating leadership and collaborating closely with project management.
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial and multi-family construction projects
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications and other project documentation
- Support subcontractor and supplier outreach, including bid solicitation and tracking
- Assist with bid leveling, scope reviews and pricing analysis under the guidance of senior estimators
- Maintain and update estimating databases and historical cost information
- Review plans, specifications and addenda to ensure full and accurate scope coverage
- Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation for tender submissions

The Successful Applicant For the Estimator role, we are seeking:
- 2+ years' experience in construction estimating, project engineering or a related role (internships welcome)
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Fundamental understanding of construction methods, materials and terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff (advantageous)
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, office-based environment
