As a long-standing family-owned business, this company has strong international roots and has set the benchmark in the road construction industry. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in Florence, KY. The role involves designing electrical systems, supporting commissioning, and collaborating on project requirements and solutions. The position reports to the Technical Director.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with customers, project managers, and design teams to define and execute electrical designs.
• Prepare electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using EPLAN.
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting during installation phases.
• Stay updated on control panel technology and electrical engineering advancements.
• Design systems with motor starters, VFDs, and control devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards (UL, NEC, CSA).
• Use 3D CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor) for system integration and SAP for material management.
• Collaborate with international teams, suppliers, and third-party fabricators.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's (or master's) degree in electrical engineering.

Minimum GPA of 3.2

2–10 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in EPLAN

Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, and sensors

Familiarity with industry codes

Experience with Autodesk Inventor and SAP is a plus

Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
