Description : ABOUT THE ROLE
Performs various tasks associated with the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems of the quarry.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Exercise and encourage core values including but not limited to; developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment
- Troubleshoot and repair a diverse range of electrical equipment throughout the quarry (ieinstrumentation circuits, motor control circuits up to 13.8 kilovolts, low and medium voltage drives, monitoring analyzers).
- Schematic reading and instrumentation calibration.
- Low and medium voltage cable routing, splicing and terminating.
- Basic mechanical activities such as non-critical welding and laser alignment.
- Perform walk-by inspections and diagnostic checks.
- Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, participate in various team activities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
- Other duties, as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Education : High School Diploma / GED
Additional Education Preferred : Associates / College Degree
Field of Study : Electrical
Required Training / Certifications : Prefer Journeyman License
Required Work Experience : 1-3 years
Computer and Software Skills : General computer proficiency
Travel Requirements : Less than 10%
