Job descriptionA high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position. Should be supplemented by completion of a Union, private (in-house), military, or trade school apprenticeship program that includes theory and on-the-job work. Four or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level wireman in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting is required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Valid electrician's license or journeyman card is preferred. CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications required; Specific training or certificates in the following preferred : Ability to provide the necessary tools, including, but not limited to knife, pliers / linemen, screwdrivers, nut drivers, key hole saw, hacksaw, hammer, level (small 12"), channel locks 2, needle nose pliers / long nose pliers, voltage meter / tester, tool pouch / belt for electrical, diagonal pliers, Allen wrenches / stranded / metric, taps (6 / 32, 8 / 32, 10 / 24), wire stripers, socket set, tape measure (at least 25 ft.), side cutters, flashlight, cordless drill / impact drill, wrench set, crescent wrench.

We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Electrical Self-Perform team for construction projects based in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves technical application of electrical principles. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Pay $27.32PH- $35.00PH DOE, Prevailing Wage
Compensation is based on on specific project location AND WILL FOLLOW DAVIS BACON PREVAILING WAGE REQUIREMENTS, WHICH VARY FROM MILITARY BASE TO MILITARY BASE. The Prevailing wage is $20.64 + 6.68 Fringe PH = $27.32ph, eligible for overtime.
