Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for executing electrical plans for lighting, intercom, and other systems. This role involves installing and troubleshooting electrical devices and systems to ensure well-functioning operations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints to execute plans of electrical wiring for effective lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
• Install electrical devices and fixtures such as switches, circuit-breaker panels, fire alarm systems, plugs, and lighting.
• Pull wire and bend and install conduit.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, install, and replace wires as necessary.

Essential Skills

• At least 4 years of commercial electrical experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience in bending and installing EMT conduit.
• Knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical theory.
• Proficient in troubleshooting.
• Journeyman certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Journeyman card is a plus but not required.
• CPR and First Aid training are preferred.
• OSHA 10 is preferred.
• Experience with rigid conduit.
• Ideally has troubleshooting abilities.

Work Environment

Work on new construction projects in the greater Nashville area, with the first likely being a police training facility near the John C Tune airport. The role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, first shift, starting between 6:00 am - 7:00 am, generally working 8-hour days. Be prepared for potential overtime during the week and Saturday work. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
