About the Role:
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within the concrete plant.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Conduct repairs and installations of electrical components, wiring, and fixtures as needed.
- Regularly inspect electrical systems and components to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to address electrical and mechanical issues.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns, minimizing downtime.
- Provide training to plant personnel on electrical safety and best practices.
- Effectively communicate with management and team members regarding electrical maintenance activities and requirements.
About You
We Require:
- Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience. One plus years’ experience in a manufacturing plant.
- Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure.
- Technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and electronics.
- Ability to provide clear and concise verbal instructions along with the ability to listen and ask questions to understand points made by others.
- General computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and database systems.
- Ability to read and apply information from plans, blueprints, work instructions and equipment manuals. Diagnostic problem solving techniques. Detail orientation.
- Mathematical skills and mechanical abilities to diagnose and solve problems.
- Demonstrated pattern of positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication.
- Must have a valid drivers’ license.
