The essential job responsibilities of the Electronics Technician are to perform installation, tests, maintenance / repair of various types of relays and electronic equipment / electrical instruments to transmission and distribution systems. Qualifications
Qualification Requirements :
To perform the Electronics Technician role, you must :
- Have an Associate degree in Electrical, Telecommunication, Electronic Engineering Technology or related degrees specific to the duties and responsibilities
- Must successfully complete Color Blind 1 Test
- Must complete NIMS training within one year of entering job
- Possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
Physical Working Conditions :
Works inside / outside under varying conditions. Subject to hazards of falling, working in the proximity of high voltage equipment, gas and electricity, traffic, heavy lifting, climbing poles, ladders and ramps and chemical fumes. May work from a bucket truck.
