Do you want to use your training, education, and experience in a new and meaningful way?
We seek an elevator expert with broad elevator / escalator expertise to join our national industrial practice group. The elevator expert will provide investigation, analysis, reports, and testimony where technical and scientific answers are needed to help resolve civil and criminal litigation, and insurance claims. Potential areas of litigation include accident reconstruction, personal injury, and product liability analysis. Expertise must include in-depth experience in design, construction, installation, and maintenance of all types of vertical transportation equipment and related industry safety standards and code compliance. Including extensive knowledge of project specifications, construction, modernization, and maintenance agreements.
This is a full-time position.
Location : Anywhere in the U.S.
Requirements :
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- A degreed engineer is preferred
- 10+ years of experience
- QEI Certification or ability to obtain one
- Hands-on repair and inspection experience with elevators and escalators is a must
- Have managerial experience
- Be familiar with industry safety standards and code compliance
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team
- Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills
