CannaBuddy is seeking a data-driven, detail-oriented Digital Marketing Analytics Specialist to join our marketing team. This role is responsible for driving and optimizing organic digital performance across web properties through SEO strategy, analytics insights, and on-site optimization. You will also maintain our digital content operations using a content management system (CMS), support the marketing and creative teams with digital asset management (DAM), and maintain a product information management (PIM) system for accurate, consistent content deployment.

Key Responsibilities

SEO & Organic Performance Management

Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase site visibility and organic traffic.

Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and technical SEO audits.

Monitor site performance in Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent tools.

Identify opportunities to improve rankings, CTRs, and conversions from organic search.

Collaborate with content and creative teams to implement SEO best practices across digital content.

Track and analyze marketing KPIs (e.g., traffic, engagement, conversions) to inform digital strategy decisions.

Create regular performance dashboards

Present actionable reports for stakeholders and recommend strategic next steps.

Content Management & Web Publishing

Use a CMS (e.g., WordPress, Contentful, Shopify, or equivalent) to build and update web pages with provided content.

Ensure pages are SEO-optimized, mobile-friendly, compliant with accessibility requirements, and aligned with brand guidelines.

Troubleshoot formatting or layout issues and liaise with the web team for advanced needs.

Digital Asset Management (DAM) & Product Information Management (PIM)

Organize and maintain a digital asset management system for marketing and creative teams.

Ensure correct usage, tagging, and versioning of assets across channels.

Manage product content accuracy and metadata through the PIM to support consistent brand and product experiences online.

Required Skills & Experience

Required

3+ years in SEO, marketing analytics, or digital marketing roles

Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz), GA4, and CMS platforms

Experience managing website structure data (i.e. schema markup, backlinks, breadcrumbs, url hierarchy)

Experience managing and optimizing web content

Familiarity with DAM and PIM systems

Strong analytical and reporting skills; fluent in Excel / Sheets, Looker Studio or similar business data analysis tools

Knowledge of building and presenting dashboards to stakeholders

Understanding of HTML / CSS and SEO technical foundations

Preferred

Experience in cannabis, wellness, or highly regulated industries

Experience working with marketing team to align organic and paid ad strategies to optimize ROI

Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM integrations

Collaborative, systems-minded approach to digital asset and content management
