We are seeking a dynamic Event Marketing Specialist to lead the marketing efforts for our upcoming in-person activation / event. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving awareness, excitement, & participation leading up to the event, ensuring a high turnout of engaged attendees & successfully booking participants for the event.
Key Responsibilities :
Event Awareness & Promotion :
Develop & execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to build excitement & awareness around the event, using both online & offline tactics.Leverage digital channels (social media, email marketing, event platforms) to create buzz & engage target audiences.Craft compelling messaging & visuals that reflect the events excitement, exclusivity, & entertainment value.Coordinate pre-event promotional campaigns, including countdowns, teaser content, influencer partnerships (host), & media buys.
Participant Recruitment :
Drive sign-ups & bookings for Game Show participation by engaging key target groups.Manage registration processes & participant follow-ups to ensure a seamless experience from sign-up to attendance.Implement creative recruitment strategies to reach diverse audiences & incentivize participation (e.g., referral programs, contests, VIP access).
Partnership & Community Engagement :
Collaborate with ADWNY to co-promote the event.Cultivate relationships with media outlets & partners to secure event coverage, interviews, & promotional opportunities.
Event Communication & Branding :
Ensure consistent messaging & branding across all promotional materials & communication.Write & design promotional content including social media posts, email newsletters, & banners.Maintain a strong online presence for the event through timely & engaging updates across social platforms.
Performance Tracking & Optimization :
Monitor marketing performance, track KPIs, & adjust strategies as needed to maximize outreach & participation.Use data-driven insights to continuously refine marketing efforts for better results.Report on campaign performance, engagement rates, & booking conversion rates.
Requirements :
- Proven experience in event marketing, especially for in-person events with a focus on engagement & attendance.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, & audience engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication, project management, & organizational skills.
- Experience working with influencers, media outlets, & community partnerships to amplify event reach.
- Ability to work independently, creatively, & under tight deadlines.
