JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you have email marketing experience, and are you seeking a new job in Plymouth? Horizontal Talent is helping a collaborative company recruit an Email Marketing Specialist - Dev, and the role comes with an attractive hourly rate.
As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will guide and advance the email execution process by focusing on strategy, design, and implementation of email marketing.
In your first few weeks in this Email Marketing Specialist role, you can expect to:
- Build and implement HTML emails for single send campaigns and automated programs
- Plan, manage, and track email marketing campaigns from conception to delivery
- Advocate for email best practices to enhance deliverability, inbox placement, accessibility, and engagement
- Segment subscriber lists for targeted messaging and campaign effectiveness
- Utilise Adobe Creative Suite for email design.

- Experience with project management software like Jira
- An understanding of email marketing principles
- Experience with automated email campaigns and transactional emails
- Proficiency in SQL queries, particularly in SFMC Automation Studio.
