Job Description

Nurse Educator - Emergency Department at Providence Little Company Of Mary Torrance Hospital in Torrance, CA. This is a full-time, variable shift position.

10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Serves as a consultant, educator, researcher, and clinical expert for the medical center and service area. Demonstrates expertise in the care of age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics) according to clinical specialty, and participates in related continuing education.

Required qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Advanced study in area of clinical specialization
• Course work in adult education principles
• Coursework / Training in Performance Improvement and research methodology
• Upon hire : California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years Acute hospital experience in clinical specialty area
• 1 year experience in adult education, patient / family education

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
