The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience.

23.50 - $44.00

Position Highlights

Previous Clinical Microbiology Lab Experience is Highly Desired

MLS and Microbiologist : You may be eligible for a $15,000 sign on bonus with a 3 year commitment.

MLT : You may be eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus with a 2 year commitment.

This position is eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help you pay down your principle balance faster.

Schedule : Day Shift starting time between 5 : 30 am - 7am with an 8 hour shift; Rotate every 3rd weekend / holiday; occasional on call; 80 hours every 2 weeks

Medical Laboratory Technician Education & Certification Requirements :

• Associate's Transcript showing Medical Laboratory Technician degree
• MLT - American Medical Technologists (AMT) within 1 Year or
• Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) within 1 Year

A Brief Overview

Performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures and related duties. Utilizes scientific principles as well as technical, procedural, and problem-solving aptitudes for day-to-day laboratory technical operations, quality control, quality assurance, procedure / instrument maintenance and corrective action, test result correlation, and clinical laboratory related continuing education.
