Currently looking for an Emergency Room Clinical Pharmacist Specialist located in the central Tennessee area. Interested candidates MUST have previous Emergency Room experience. Pharm D and completion of a clinical residency or equivalent experience is required. Board Certification is preferred. Work a desirable 7on, 7 off Night shift!

Responsibilities of the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

Responsible for the pharmaceutical care of all patients. The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist must use knowledge and professional judgment to make clinical decisions concerning patient drug therapy. The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will practice within a multidisciplinary healthcare team across a variety of practice settings to care for patients. Additionally, they will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the medication use process. The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will serve as a primary preceptor for pharmacy students and residents. Finally, this position requires engagement in various committees within the facility, including Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Medication Safety, Antimicrobial Stewardship, and others, to improve the department and organization. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for the ER Clinical Pharmacist

• PharmD PGY1 is preferred.
• PGY1 is preferred or equivalent experience
• Emergency Room experience
• Board Certification is preferred
