About the Role
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager and / or Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients within the assigned nursing unit. The RN performs a wide range of technical and complex duties to coordinate and deliver both direct and indirect patient care.
In this role, the RN will also participate in patient and family teaching, collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, and uphold the highest standards of professional nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, competent, and compassionate nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet individualized needs.
Collaborate with physicians, ancillary nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care delivery.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance.
Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely.
Provide leadership and mentorship to team members in maintaining best practices in the clinical setting.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure in the United States.
Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy abilities.
Prior acute care or hospital-based nursing experience preferred.
