Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Employee Relations Professional to join our team. This role is critical in fostering a positive, productive work environment by addressing employee concerns, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and helping to resolve conflicts in a fair and effective manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, a keen understanding of labor laws, and exceptional interpersonal and investigative skills. Key Responsibilities :
- Employee Relations Support : Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and management regarding employee relations issues, providing guidance and support on matters such as workplace conflicts, grievances, performance concerns, and disciplinary actions.
- Investigations & Conflict Resolution : Conduct thorough, impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary issues. Gather facts, interview involved parties, and document findings while ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
- Compliance & Legal Guidance : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Stay current on changes in labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices, and advise management and employees on compliance matters.
- Employee Engagement & Satisfaction : Collaborate with HR Business Partners and management to develop and implement initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall workplace culture.
- Data & Trend Analysis : Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and metrics (such as turnover, grievances, and workplace incidents). Provide insights and actionable recommendations to senior management to enhance employee relations and prevent potential issues.
- Training & Development : Design, develop, and deliver training programs for managers and employees on topics such as conflict resolution, performance management, company policies, and employee rights and responsibilities.
- Policy & Procedure Development : Assist in the creation and implementation of employee relations policies, procedures, and best practices that align with company values and legal requirements. Ensure all policies are clearly communicated and accessible to employees and management.
- Mediation & Facilitation : Act as a neutral mediator to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts between employees and management. Use strong interpersonal skills to build trust, de-escalate tension, and foster positive working relationships.
- Record-Keeping & Documentation : Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential records of all employee relations cases, including investigations, outcomes, and resolutions, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Special Projects : Participate in special projects and initiatives related to employee relations, employee engagement, HR programs, and continuous improvement efforts.
