The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Human Resources Manager (Employee Relations) , working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Pasadena, California, United States .

Salary Range : $70,000-$85,000 - per year dependent upon degree, bilingual competency, and / or certification.

As a Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various HR functions to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the HR department. You will play a key role in managing and enhancing employee relations strategies and practices. You will act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

What your day looks like as a Human Resources Manager at Hillsides :

  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, disciplinary issues, and workplace incidents.
  • Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on employee relations issues, performance management, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee relations activities and prepare reports of HR analytics and data to identify trends, diagnose root cause issues, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Assist the director of human resources in the implementation of the organization's strategic plan, employee relation matters, and special projects.
  • Assist with other duties as needed.

Experience Required for Your Success

As a Human Resources Manager, you will bring :

  • Minimum a bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in managing employee relations
  • SHRM or PHR certification required
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to carry a heavy and diverse workload
  • Possess initiative and self-direction
  • A valid California driver's license. Must be able to show driving record and personal vehicle insurance coverage
