Job Description
ROLE AND PURPOSE : The HR Partner (HRP) in the Employee Relations Division of Human Resources serve as consultants to management and employees on human resources-related issues. Serving in an advisory capacity to management and staff on employee relations issues, the HRP ensures consistent application of the AISD policies and procedures regarding FMLA, ADA, EEOC, Title VII, disciplinary matters and recommends changes in those policies and / or procedures, as appropriate; and represents the AISD in unemployment hearings.
The HR Partner's role is to work closely with internal stakeholders to develop effective relationships between employees and managers across the District that align and support the overall strategic objectives of the District.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certification :
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution. Prefer an emphasis in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
- Master's Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology (preferred).
- Professional in Human Resources or Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute or SHRM (preferred).
