Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C) - International Board of Speciality Certification (IBSC) Upon Hire and
EMT - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
3 years of field experience in ALS ambulance, previous teaching experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in all EMS skills and familiar with various EMS training techniques.

Varied Shifts, 7 : 00am-7 : 30pm / 7 : 00pm-7 : 30am, every 3rd wknd / hol; Be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients. Delivers Nursing Care by developing a nursing diagnosis; establishing nursing care objectives; defining nursing interventions; providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends to understand patient conditions, medications, and self-care skills; re-evaluating care objectives.
Provides patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions; communicating the nursing care plan and all pertinent information to other members of the health care team; coordinating with other healthcare providers; providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends; Develops nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories; documenting patient physical condition, psychological status, and influencing social factors; developing a nursing diagnosis; establishing nursing care objectives; defining nursing interventions, schedules, and timetables.
Teaches healthcare requirements by establishing patient care goals; instructing patient, family, and friends to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; Evaluates patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care standards; re-evaluating care objectives; modifying nursing care plan.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy patient care environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations; adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Keeps patient care equipment operating by following operating instructions and established procedures; Keeps patient care supplies ready by checking stock; stocking items.
Maintains competence in nursing capabilities outlined by leadership.

Required Education, License / Certification, or Work Experience :
Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
EMS - North Dakota Health and Human Services North Dakota EMS within 90 Days
Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) - Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) within 2 Years
1-3 years Critical Care experience
