Wendel is looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly motivated future Energy Engineer to intern and work directly with our Energy Engineer team in our Williamsville, NY or Rochester, NY office. Our internship program provides hands-on practical experience for students while potentially developing the individual to take on a full-time role with Wendel post-graduation.

Internship Purpose :

• Work on real life projects like the development of comprehensive and investment grade energy audits, including data collection, utility bill disaggregation and benchmarking.
• Actively work on projects with various energy conservation measures (ECMs) across a variety of client sectors and facility types.
• Engage in direct support of reducing greenhouse gases and climate change.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other Engineers.
• Assist with field visits, energy calculations, cost estimates and contractor pricing, energy measure descriptions and detailed work scope packages; report writing, and project design documents.
• Develop measurement and verification plans and contract documents.

What we offer :

Hourly Range : $18.00 - $22.00

The salary offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
